Using Selfie Gate

Selfie Gate helps you add intentional friction before opening apps that tend to pull your attention. You are responsible for choosing which apps to gate and for using the app in a way that works for your own device, Apple ID, and Screen Time settings.

App blocking

Selfie Gate uses Apple Screen Time permissions to shield selected apps. iOS permissions, device settings, or Apple platform changes may affect how blocking works. The app may not block every app or situation perfectly.

Not professional advice

Selfie Gate is a behavior-design tool. It is not medical, mental health, legal, or financial advice.

Subscriptions

Purchases, free trials, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are handled through Apple in-app purchase and your Apple account settings. App Store terms apply to transactions made through Apple.

Photos and permissions

You should only take and store photos that you have the right to capture and use. Do not use the app in a way that violates another person’s privacy or safety.

Acceptable use

Use Selfie Gate responsibly and only with permissions you are authorized to grant on your own device or family account.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how Selfie Gate handles app data, selfies, Screen Time permissions, and support emails. Review it before using the app.

Changes

These terms may be updated as the app, pricing, and App Store distribution details change.
